The weekend-long celebrations, which marked the 700-year anniversary of the Percy family buying the castle, saw an influx of visitors to the town, who enjoyed concerts, local food and farmers' markets, historical exhibitions and colourful processions.
Tom Vickers and Ian Pearson were the power behind the Alnmouth throne in the SG Wealth Management Northumberland League, as they led the champions to a tight 21-run win over visitors Blagdon Park.
Vickers cracked a superb 83, and with Pearson also passing the half-century mark, the opening stand set the tone for the home side's impressive score of 224.

A man who committed 67 distraction burglary and fraud offences against elderly victims up and down the country has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Mark Rhodes, 25, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Ipswich on May 1 after his photo appeared in the Most Wanted section of the BBC's Crimewatch UK programme. His offending took place nationwide, including the North East, and Northumbria Police's Operation Bombay team worked on the case with 18 other affected force areas.
Rhodes was arrested and when he appeared at Stroud Magistrates Court in Gloucestershire on June 3 he pleaded guilty to a total of 16 offences - eight distraction burglaries, and eight frauds.
A Northumberland hotel owner sexually assaulted a teenage girl before offering her £500 for "a good time" a court heard yesterday.
Motin Rahman, 36, co-owner of the Schooner Hotel in Alnmouth, put his hand inside the girl's top, Alnwick magistrates heard yesterday.
Rahman, who owns other businesses in Morpeth and Newcastle, then offered her money to get into the back seat of his car with him.

The Poison Diaries trilogy, written by Maryrose Wood, are gothic tales of love, revenge and the dangerous world of poisonous plants, that came to life after the Duchess realised the real Poison Garden, at The Alnwick Garden, would make a great topic for a novel.
The three-book deal with Balzer and Bray, an imprint of world-wide publishers HarperCollins, was agreed on Wednesday. It will now go on release in the summer next year.
More meetings are to be held in Northumberland to allow people to have their say on £200m proposals for new and improved hospitals in the county.
