Museum's tribute to Alnwick servicemen

Posted by Kim Carmichael on Oct 2, 08 03:20 PM in News

A tribute to Alnwick's fallen servicemen is on display at the town's Bailiffgate Museum.

The Lest We Forget exhibition commemorates the 90th anniversary of the armistice, which signalled the end of the First World War, and features memorabilia from the Northumberland Fusiliers and the Northumberland Hussars.

The exhibition chronicles the involvement of men from across Alnwick district, including those working on the home front, and runs until Remembrance Sunday.

The museum is open from 10am to 4pm until the end of October and from 10am to 5pm in November.
