In Transition Film - March 5th Alnwick

We are excited to hold another film evening on March 5th at 7.30 at St James Church Hall in Alnwick to show a new film called "In Transition". This film is an inspiring and welcome departure from the usual doom and gloom that can be conected with the environmental movement. It shows what ordinary people all over the world are doing through the Transition Movement to make changes both big and small in their communities for a more sustainable and satisfying future.

Cut-price entry at Alnwick Garden

As the snow melts across Northumberland's Alnwick Garden, bosses are offering a deal to tempt visitors back.

The garden is offering adult entry for a donation of £1 .

The new entry charge started on Saturday and will run throughout January.
Admission for children is 1p.

And next weekend visitors can join in a family workshop to make bird feeders for their back garden. Winter is an important time to remember our feathered friends, so the guides at the garden will teach visitors how to make a special treat with seeds, berries and fat.

The event takes place between 11am and 3pm.
